Brisbane Technology Park

The Brisbane Technology Park (BTP) aims to stimulate economic growth and initiate jobs and opportunities in Queensland through technology enabled sectors.

The Brisbane Technology Park provides a state-of-the-art environment for established and emerging technology based companies which can enjoy a high profile corporate exposure in a community with the scope for constructive interaction and exchange between residents.

The Park is already home to a large number of prestigious national and multi-national companies taking advantage of the BTP's prime location, latest ICT Infrastructure and cost effective rates. 

As a technology park, BTP has a number of objectives:

  • Develop as a community that makes visible and evident, a range of business, economic and scientific skills;
  • To provide resident companies involved in the commercialisation and exploitation of technology with a sense of identity; and
  • Provide an environment that develops a sense of community in which all residents contribute to the healthy exchange of scientific and other knowledge between businesses and individuals.
 
Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI)

Bisbane Technology Park’s team comprising the Queensland Government Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) , Department of Infrastructure and Planning (DIP)and Zernike Australia Pty Ltd brings a total commitment to supporting and developing new technology facilities for a broad range of businesses.

Onsite Park Management is carried out by Zernike Australia Pty Ltd and the Park Manager is Gill Laird-Portch.  The delivery of value-added specialist innovation and support services are available to BTP companies through the Zernike International Group and CEO Arnold Stroobach.

BTP Technology & Conference Centre is administered by the Queensland Government's Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) and close links are maintained with a variety of government agencies, at both State and Commonwealth level.
