BTP is fully equipped with high-speed optic fibre cable, providing businesses with access to one of Australia’s most advanced telecommunications networks. The Park network, which was fully funded by the Queensland Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry, equips businesses within the Brisbane Technology Park with the infrastructure necessary to access very high-speed services, including super-fast Internet access.

Uecomm’s network is among the most advanced fibre optic data networks in the world. Its widespread CBD and greater metropolitan reach makes the data network one of the most extensive in Australia.

BTP Fibre Communications
Central to the Park’s Gigabit Ethernet fibre network is a large SmartSwitch-Router installed in the BTP Technology and Conference Centre. This forms the hub for the park’s optic-fibres, which can provide 100Mbps to each building. The hub is also the gateway to telecommunications services outside the park.
The Brisbane Technology Park is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Uecomm’s National Operations Centre (NOC). Uecomm engineers and BTP staff work together to provide customer support.
